Our Mission

Helping Our Community RVA is a non profit organization incorporated in Richmond, Virginia with 501c3 tax exemption status. Our mission is to empower and educate our community with strategies and solutions that will have a positive impact on their mental health and well-being. We want to introduce awareness and knowledge of many resources available in our community that will promote change in poverty, hunger, homelessness, and abuse. We want to assist in helping to build more substantial households by advocating, helping to develop, and coordinate more tools that promote family reunification and stability.
